Mountain View Growers is hiring Seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to support crop production throughout the growing and harvest seasons. This hands on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, working both indoors and outdoors, and being part of a team focused on producing high quality forest seedlings.

Job Duties:

As a Forest Nursery Worker, you will assist with a variety of production and facility tasks, including:

• Preparing and sterilizing growing containers
• Operating and assisting with semi‑automatic washing and sowing lines
• Preparing growing media and media mixes (including coco, styroprill, and peat moss)
• Setting up growing areas such as benching, irrigation systems, greenhouses, and outdoor compounds
• Supporting sowing, crop care, and harvest operations
• Weeding, thinning, spacing, relocating, and maintaining crops throughout the season
• Assisting with the collection of crop and production data
• Sorting, bundling, wrapping, boxing, palletizing, and loading harvested seedlings
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe growing and production areas
• Assisting with the maintenance of nursery infrastructure, including irrigation and growing facilities

Work Environment:

This position involves repetitive tasks and physical labour in both indoor and outdoor nursery environments. Training is provided.

Hiring Periods:

Our main hiring periods are:

• February 1 to February 15
• September 1 to September 30
